HI Guys!

Just got home and am very tired and have been quite ill today and no, it was not self induced!

I am bursting to tell my good news so will do the brag now and post full results and a pic later on tomorrow.

Yesterday at Gladstone KC - young Dino (light of my life) was [SIZE=21pt]Runner Up to Best in Show !!!!!![/SIZE]

and also Puppy in Show, which qualifies him for both Top Dog of the Year and Top Puppy of the Year Zone 2! Aime was Reserve Bitch CC both days.

At Burnett last week under Stephanie Rickard, Dino was Dog CC and RUBOB and Junior in Group. And Cara was 3rd in Puppy S/stakes (out of 25 entries) and Reserve CC bitch!

Thanks Whipowill- not bad for her 3rd time out. Not sure if I'd describe Geoff Love as a whippet specialist- maybe we should. I called Mrs McKenzie a whippet specialist a while back on here and got pulled up for it- perhaps rightly. :b   :wacko:
So what defines a specialist? A judge who breeds and exhibits? How long should they have been breeding for? Should they have titled so many dogs? :unsure:

When someone has had another breed it is hard to define with a second. He does have a very nice litter of whippets at the moment.

For those who aren't aware, the show raised $20,000 for the disaster relief fund and I was told the money would be sent to Care Australia. I did query why they don't send it through WWF or WSPA to be used to assist animals in need. Was told the powers that be will consider it.

Yes, I know i'm slack but my memory is bad too. Also the catalogue is still in the car, great show and congratulations to all the winners. It was my first show for along time and Bart hadn't been shown for a couple of years. He was a bit wild and wicked but we had a good night and it was for a good cause. I even thought about entering more shows BUT.........
