And we all know why your doing  Belfast dont we :- " . I mean you could have picked one closer to home couldnt you :b

:D Going to Manchester (babies first Champ Show) and Crufts but haven't got a clue where after that. Doing Doncaster KA at Newark on 9th Jan just only because Whippets are on first and can rush home and get warm after that.

Judging at Weston Super Mare at Royal Bath & West on 28th, with a nice paper entry of 40. Hope they all turn up. Whatever, will have a fantastic day.

 Welcome to our New K9'er, hope you're ready for this.

Hi Jackie, and thanks for making me welcome!!!

Sorry bout the delay but my new Whippet pup had broken the laptop (he just pounced on it and knocked it off but then i shouldnt have left it!!). He has only got away with it as my husband is an IT engineer so can fix it (phew o:) )

The pup is a Dumbriton pup and im pleased that i have managed to get a good pup on my first attempt. He is a little sweetie, fawn with a white trim but also a hint of blue on his back and on his muzzle, will post a piccie as soon as santa brings a new digital camera.

I live in Cumbria and not sure on what happens Whippet wise up here, but as im used to living in the back of beyond i am used to travelling all over with our Greyhounds.

If im correct the first show that he will be elegible for is the one in Wetherby on the 13th Feb but there is also one in St Helens which may be nearer.

We will be going to watch the Midland WC show on the 2nd Jan as i will be visiting family in the Midlands, maybe attending shows in the Midlands will be an opportunity to visit my family more often.

I wish you all a great christmas and look forward to making new friends in 2005.

Denise and of course Rebel.

With many thanks to DOG WORLD and Pedigree Chum , I now have all the correct ? dates for General Champ shows , The only ones that are different from Dawns list are the following

Hello Cinderella!

Welcome to K9! :)

Where are you from?

The judge planned is Unto Timonen from Finnland (Woodbrook's whippets).

Just to confirm, Belfast dates for 2005, as printed in this years Belfast catalogue and from my own correspondence with the KC:

Friday 23rd September Hound, Gundog & Terrier

Saturday 24th September Utility, Pastoral, Working & Toy

Hope this clears up any queries regarding these dates.

All the best

Janet

Aha Jax - Unfortunately we can't all be 100% right all the time Can we?

The Houndshow has usually been the last weekend in July but had to change in 2004 due to double booking. I understood they were reverting to their 'usual' dates from 2005 onwards.

The other dates are either from the Kennel Gazette (ie KC) or various online sites.

The breed club dates are usually the difficult ones to get hold of as most clubs seem reluctant to give out too much info on who is doing what with whom and when (if you understand).

BTW

NIWC is the Saturday after Belfast ie 24th September (Thanks Dukie)

Hi Morgan,

Thanks for the welcome, and the information about the judge. do you think we can give it a try and go for it ?

I am from the continent, in fact from Belgium.

I've seen you at the show in Courtrai, and your whippet in Champ class defenitely was the best, even if iwas competing too :- " . Compared some pics, and yes, yours better, even better than the BOS.

Cinderella

We're doing Manchester, and we'll be doing most that are within a couple of hours driving distance from us.

We'll be travelling for WCOS, Blackpool, NCWC and Leeds probably. And will decide about some of the other further away ones closer to the dates when I see what else is going on.

As I'm not working this year I can do more shows than in the past so I think we're going to get to as many as possible without wearing out the poor girls.
