Dave the drinking is nothing compared to years ago parties till early hours (w00t) its the atmosphere and sportsmanship that has dropped off over the years :( lets keep this on a positive thread and look forward to a good season of racing  time for us all to look closer to home and make the sport what it once was

i agree with mutley

as for the b.w r.a imo i think it wud b better if they had somewhere else just incase we did lose this venue as well then that way @ least we wud have something to fall back on. but if the b.w.r.a do decided to use this venue as well then il say good luck to everyone and hope we can keep it. :luck: :luck: :luck:

ha ha at mutley I can remember one year we went to bed early whilst up at Dingwall cos I had to get up in the early hours the next day to drive home and there was a party going on which started at 7 pm and was still on at 4am the next day when we got up to travel home lol and NO i aint saying whose party it was lol

I have never known whippet people fall out, get drunk yes but never to fall out like they have over the past few years

Have to agree STOP all the bickering peeps and the FALLING OUT and let's start to all pull together and make WHIPPET RACING the sport it once was and will be again .....

i think i can remember that party pat :p slightly (w00t) good times

i remember the 1st time we went to dingwall ( it was the last time it was held there :( ) and there was a club all the whippet people were in there and the woman who owned it wanted to shut and she was on the stage shouting last orders. anyway decca ( and possibly mutley i cant remember 4 sure lol) decided to get up with her and start singing lol sure we were there @ least another few hours lol

Thanks for all the positive comments and offers of help, we can always use extra pairs of hands at events and we will appreciate as much help as you can offer to get things up and running for the easter weekend

Swallownest facilities are excellent new showers and toilets, ample room for caravans and tents, club refurbished, games room with sky T.V. and the best bit the ale is only £1-37p a pint.

TO ALL N.N.W.R.F. MEMBERS THIS IS YOUR VENUE LETS LOOK AFTER IT

Main thing - What's the track like?

I believe it was "uphill" from what i've been told? Does it need much work doing at it?
