I just had to let you all know that Dusty AKA (Auriway Touch O Flare) gained is Aust Title on Sat at Red Cliffs District Kennel Club Vic.  He has done such a great job for a young dog. 
Well done young man.  :cheers:

Perhaps we should start a thread about embarrassing moments in baby classes ... I've got heaps!!! :teehee:

Hi Elly,

Because I have the two girls at the moment in baby puppy, Gay (Staffies) sometimes gives me a hand with the whippies. She took Tequila while I had Lyric. Tequila decided that she should have an absolute ball out in the ring. Gay managed tableing her great until the judge wanted to go over her, then she was up wanting to kiss the judges face, wiggle around and play. When Gay was asked to take her up for an up and back Tequila bounced around, pulled and as Gay said acted like a kangaroo. As she came back from the second attempt of an up and back Tequila shot forward came to the end of her lead and fell on her side. I think everyone ring side heard the thump. I said 'oh no you've gone and broken her' (that was after I knew she was alright, of course). Gay then tried stacking her in the line up but again she was Miss Wiggle, so I said to Gay here you have Lyric (who was behaving like a little angel) and I'll take her. Well then we had two very naughty puppies in the ring, Lyric turning and carrying on to be with me and Tequila still having an absolute ball. All this with lots of laughter from Gay, those ring side and myself.

Needless to say the results speak for themselves with one very well behaved puppy of Lana's being placed first and then a toss up between those other two naughty puppies.

But I love babies being babies - plus it's good entertainment for the people ring side

Yes I think it would be a great thread to start - of all our embarrasing moments. :b and fun times :teehee:

I don't suppose anybody has results for Geelong on the 27th May. I was entered, but unable to go. I hear there was a good turn out of whippets on the day.

Tesa can tell you a thing about babies jumping around like idiots!! Little Tia aka Peperone Bitter Tears aka Jabba Jaws went round the ring at colac like a mexican jumping bean!! I tried to keep her on all four legs by putting the palm of my hand on her head but all that did was make her want to bite my fingers!!

I'm waiting for Cooper (P. New Sensation) to start talking in the ring (he is soo vocal at home!) ... he gives out way to much attitude for someone who is under a foot tall!!

I was cursing that I missed Geelong, it's the only show close to home and where was I!!!! In hospital!!!! Glad to be home now. I see the judge liked the Barney daughters. Sorry I missed seeing Irish Lullaby, not surprised she took the group :wub: :wub: :wub:
