yes it was an amazing setting, a fantastic day, good to meet up with everyone again, shame about the stroppy mare that tried to get her own way!!!

cant wait till next year!!!

Well what a fantastic day. The weather was glorious (a little too hot for me) the location was just fab and the organisation was great. Well dont to Tish, Kev and Debs for great working events and everyone else involved.

It was a great day for me with Brindle making it through to the semi finals of the coursing, Belle being champion in the hurdles and winning back one of the trophies i sponsored!!!! lol Gave this to Jo tho for coming a close second with Dylan. Sky qualifying for South West Supreme and Pride of Peaks and coming reserve champion in the hurdles again on her 2nd time doing it!!

I also got to see all my very good friends who are great people and spend time in the sunshine - great :thumbsup: Im looking forward to next year

I do just have to say one thing, and this is not to put a dampner on anything, not to fall out with anyone or to start any arrguements or debates, i just think it needs to be said in support of a couple of people......

Kev and Debs do a fantastic job at these shows with the working events (and i know how hard it is) and they dont get no-where near enough credit for it....they do however seem to get a hell of a lot of grief which is very un-nessacery and very un-fair. Showing and racing in the summer months is suppose to be all about fun and spending time with people you probably dont see much of through the winter, its a day out for you and the dogs and keeps them fit and healthy....so why do people still fall out, have arguements and be nasty to and about others, ill tell you why, for a bit of ribbon.

My Idea would be to not have prizes for these events anymore and do them just for fun, i wonder how different things would be?? :-

Anyway I just want to say a GREAT BIG thanks to Kev and Debs for all your hard work and will everyone just stop the bickering which spoiles the shows and bloody enjoy instead and have a laugh. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

i thought it was a good attempt to include all dogs from the running genre in this show ,well done kev for trying to accomadate the nonpeds in the event ,i bet you thought long and hard how to include all of them,shame 1 person had to try and cheat after all that effort and cannot understand the concept of sportsmanship ,apart from running her dog in the hurdles with stitches from its last mishap ,withdrew her dog after 1 heat so she could enter the straight racing,then had alook at the running order didnt fancy her chances against a local bred nonped and stormed off home moanin her face off about it running late, the only negative part of the day apart from the sat nav and its obsession with single track roads,was her attitude,also the terrier and lurcher judges were very thorough and were better than the usual facey gits,so all in all good fun thanks to liz and tish nighthunter racing ,and their helpers for a first show that was as big as some country fairs i have been to well done ,do madman and hellsbells secretly admire each other as hes allways trying to get her out lamping :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck: (w00t) ,

sorry karen she has now stated that she did not run her dog with stitches in!!!

she had them removed on the vets advice!!!!

she had previously stated that the stitches had to be in for 14 days....which by my calculation will be this wednesday!!!! should she still have been running her??? i know i wouldnt of thats for sure!!! way too soon!!! :clown:
