what a brilliant day we had,so pleased with kiplins performance, 4th in the final, and at 15months old hes got lots of potentical to improve  lovely to meet you june with smidge hes so so cute    :huggles:

lovely to see the peppermint pups again hope ive got lots of good poics for you

well done to all the winners

Lovely to meet you too Trish - I have seen you before of course, but now I know who you are

We enjoyed our day, and Smidge enjoyed his cuddles with everyone :huggles:

We had a bad scare when Sweep went over on the bend in the first race, but he got up and finished. We thought he had only bruised his toe, but when we got home and checked him over again, his right hock is also swollen, and he has quite a few bruises to his body. We watched the video back, and it was horrific, we feel really lucky that he wasn't seriously injured. He went down onto his neck and was scrabbling to stay upright, but his body followed over the top, and then he turned and rolled over sideways - it is amazing that he got up to finish the race, but that is Sweep - 100% focussed, and it would take much more to stop my gorgeous boy. Suffice to say he's been spoilt rotten this evening, and I think he will be sleeping in our bed tonight.

Well done to Blue Devil on becoming a Racing Champion (are the owners K9ers? If so PM me your address and I'll send you a DVD of your final) in fact even if you're not, could someone PM it to me?

Well done to all other half coat winners and finalists, and WCRCh Stripey Tara, we knew the little stripey girlie could win on the bend too  WCRCH Summa Breeze, that must be 5 wins now??? WCRCh Run At Mill, Rob and Jan you have a superb boy there  and to the Bruvs WCRCh Diamond Geezer and WCRCh Big Ron - Colin, Tina and Craig, the boys dun good again - so pleased for you that Ron is recovered and back on form again - what a season you've all had :p

Sweeps injuries could of been so much worse June, the tumble he took (w00t) then he got up shook himself then carried on like the true trooper he is, Little Smidge is just to gorgeous for words, sorry Donna she kept her eye on me the whole time i was giving him a cuddle so we"ll have to try and kidnap him another time. :- "

Well done all the winners and finalists. Especially Blue Devil on becoming a champion and a very biased and huge well done to Black Gold on winning the 20lb group and sister Conway Gem on coming 3rd  Also Fenland Girl and Jo-Jo on getting their half coats. Dees double ran a brilliant race too, he and Jo-Jo were just sooooo close. Brilliant race! Well done Diamond Geezer too on getting fastest time  Well done to Stripey Tara on winning her first bend champs and also Heross who had run so well all day and then got such a bad bump in the final. Hope his bumps and scratches heal well Gary  Gotta hand it to Summa Breeze, Big Ron and Run At Mill as well, who just keep on winning

Commiserations to you June on Sweep having such a bad fall in the heat of what was his last championships :( Hope he's OK.

My heart went out to Jane with Deadly Spirit he was winning at the first bend until he got banged :( He is only young and did run well out of his dreaded trap 4 :sweating:

Also felt for June with Sweep that was a nasty fall, hope he's ok :luck:

Great photos for a beginner  :- "  :D     ......Can I nick the photo of our Incas Oddy leading such a great class of dogs please ?? ......I'm sorry to hear there was trouble in that race as they are all such experienced bend dogs  :(
Glad to say after watching the video that we don't think any of the other dogs were involved in Sweep's fall. We thought he might have tangled with Back at Mill, but he didn't seem to lose any ground, so we now think Sweep just slipped and lost his front end - he doesn't know how to slow down for a bend, even though he has been running them for years  Sweep only has two speeds, slow out of the traps  and then full speed no matter what direction (w00t)

How could I forget to say Well Done to Simba "Akela" He just loves those bends Lorraine and wouldn't give up that rail for no dog  Holly was calling him on
