Some lovely pics, well done. The lens seems to do the dogs justice!

I am starting to save for a 200-400mm, but with the fixed aperture. Loads of money, but going to be worth the wait. A friend very kindly lent me his 70-200mm with fixed aperture - made one hell of a difference in low light being able to keep the aperture wide open.

I'm from 'the other side' :p , 'cos I've jsut upgraded to a Nikon D200 with a 18-200mm lens. It's b****y fantastic (BUT VERY HEAVY!!!)

Lovely pics as always, and a very interesting discussion on lenses. I think I definately need to upgrade.

thanks for all your replies,i think mollys been over doing things lately as she seems to have a stiff hip today :( , she as a little athritis in it but looks like its got worse to me :b ,think its time to get her some medication to ease things for her,dont like to think shes hurting anywhere :huggles:
