Last night, I thought to myself - what a nice night to take my dogs out on the lamp for the first time, and introduce them to a whole new world of lamping.

What a wasted night it turned out to be -- -- -- :(

Our pet cat followed us everywhere - about 3 miles, before I gave up and returned home.

Every time I let the dogs off the lead, to try and coax them into giving chase - the cat started running - which in return - made the dogs more interested in the cat, than the rabbits. :(

Wish I had my camera with me...............

Yea.

Local fields for me too.

Thought the weather looked good, but very little around.

Hope things pick up in the coming months........

It's been a while since I had my last dogs, so I am having to learn from fresh, where the quarry are all hanging around.

(I'll find the buggers).

  the cat may be better at it you never know then youd be famous for having the first rabbiting cat (w00t)

would love to have seen the cat (w00t) they are so crafty :p

When I lived at my Dad's farm my old cat used to disappear for days and come back with a very full tum. Used to often see him trotting up the lane carrying a rabbit almost as big as him! My stepmum has a Siamese cat now and it is fantastic-so quick and absolutely silent.

Not sure how good a cat would be working with a lamp though :D

A feral cat has been coming into my garden since my old greyhound died, and she has been bringing a rabbit almost every day for her 4 kittens. It is great to see how well she cares for her kittens and to see them tucking into the kill. They are killing themselves now at 3 months old - but just birds and other small stuff. [i wish they wouldn't kill the garden birds but they are feral cats and have to live.]

Lots of rabbits here - my farmer neighbour absolutely hates them - so my pup may be popular as she grows.

Our cats like that. She dosent follow us on her walk but she teases them so that they chase her and the doggys get told off. Loll. :p

They are too smart 8)
