Well what a day.........fewwwwweeeeee we're all worn out!!!

Diamonds 2nd show but the first 'proper one' saw her get, 2nd Whippet Junior and 3rd AVMPB. (We were pleased with that as an Iggy got first in AVMPB  )

It was my daughters first proper Junior Handling class in the 6-11 category, and i was getting a bit worried about her actual handling as Diamond is soooo attached to me and it was a very large class.

Neednt have worried as she did really well and got 3rd........yeeeeeeehaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!! (w00t) That gets her a place in the Junior Handling semi-finals at Richmond Champ Show. We are really really pleased with her. :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

Cheers to Mark (Bertie) for his support

Well i hid behind Harry Whimpanny's wheelchair for most of it, and had to keep darting behind various cages while she was in the ring!!!! There were two of us mums doing it which in hind sight must have been very amusing to an onlooker :p

Diamond was very aware that i was nowhere to be seen, which the judge could tell, she must see it so many times. The judge Barbara Hare came over to chat with us after and said that Lauryn did have a bright future ahead of her as she coped extremely well with a fidgety dog and just took it in her stride and was very patient and confident. To be honest we hadnt practised all that much but Lauryn has a lot of experience handling dogs in general. Gonna have to practice every day now!!!

Only took one picture as she came out of the ring. As you can see Diamond is eager to get to me!!! Was too emotional to take any more and Harry had scooted off somewhere with his camera
