My whippet had a histiocytoma removed from her side. It started off as small spot then grew larger(looked a bit like a squashed rasin).According to my vet it would have gone away on its own but i opted to have it removed as she was scratching it and i didn,t want it to become infected.Seemingly they usually occur in young dogs of less than three years old.Thankfully she never got any more. :D Hope this helps.

Looks like it could be a histiocytoma (sp?)My Normie (IG) had one on his leg which he kept knocking and breaking open, so it looked like the photos you have posted of Sada. Histiocytomas are not malignant, but Norman had his removed as it would not heal.

I hope that is what it is, but I would certainly get your vet to check it out.

Thats what Owen had his got infected as the cat scratched it. He had a course of antibiotics and it soon disapeared
