I'd like to publically apologise to anybody that I have offended in the past week!

Be it Pennymeadow Whippets, Parkstone Whippets, or Mally (Paul).

I do not think that my comments warrented threateneing calls, that upset my wife, but I shall consider before posting again on here! :b

I'm sorry to hear that this has happened to Joey Scott. Especially at a time when you are out of the country and it has nothing to do with her anyway. Well you shouldn't be getting them either no matter what you've said on the board.

I saw what was written in that thread and nothing you said should have lead to threatening phone calls. It defy's belief that this has happened.

I followed the said topic before it was 'edited', and yes you had your own opinion, but how that could possibly warrant threatening phone calls ??? Im stunned

I have been very busy in the past week, having only quick glances at k9, so I do not actually know what exactly this is was about. But that is not relevant, the purpose of forum is to express ones opinions. If somebody does not agree with particular opinion they have the opportunity to challenge it HERE on the forum. It is cowardly at the extreme to make threatening phone calls. It would be very boring if people will become too frightened to say what they think.

I too have been busy and have only skimmed over K9 very briefly, so haven't a scooby what this is about, but I am sorry to hear this Scott. Like most of us, you hold your own opinions, as is your right, and I'm sorry to hear that others have caused you problems.

Of all the forums I use, K9 is (particularly for a larger forum) by far the most friendly and supportive, despite our disagreements and debates. I have even heard tell of how wonderful it is on other major forums! It's such a pity there are some who have another agenda.

Scot & joey i would take no notice of anybody making threats this just shows they dont have the guts to tell you to your face if they are not happy with what you have said or done as i said on the thread there is a right way & a wrong way this is certainly the wrong way this forum is all about debate & free speech and if everyone thought the same then there would be no point having sites like this one i say keep posting your true opinions & not just what people want to hear

I had a 'disagreement' on another thread earlier this week but we agreed to disagree and there are no hard feelings )

k9 is about voicing your opinions and at the end of the day thats all they are-opinions!

To go one step further and send threatening phone calls to someone is disgusting, something im sure 99.9% of us on here wouldnt dream of doing (w00t)

I don't know what "offence" Scott has supposedly committed, but whatever was said was only words and on no account should threatening phones calls have been made.

I am new to K9 and have been made to feel really welcome by everyone, it's quite sickening to think that one of our group could be so obnoxious.

Please don't stop posting Scott, and perhaps the person who has made these threatening calls would stand up for him/herself, and tell everybody what you have said that is so terrible - then we could be the judge - words against threatening phone calls - No contest really is there, you stay with us Scott, seems most people think you should!!

Read this topic starter last night with not a scooby doo, as to what you could have done to warrent such personal abuse, I'm still none the wiser, only saddened that its caused such upset to you and your wife.

Scott, I am really sorry to hear that you and your wife received these phone calls. I don't know what this is about but I think it is very big of you to make a public apology. On the other hand who ever made the phone calls I think the term 'feral' fits quite nicely.

Please do not stop posting, you will be greatly missed. Your posts are always worth reading. And your photographs are among the best on K9. I think your picture Poetry in Motion is the BEST photo every posted on here. Would miss seeing more of your work
