Had a lovely long walk on Friday morning, was nice to see the sun shining and some blue skies. Penny had one chase of the ball and then dumped it somewhere! so just enjoyed a good mooch about.

I am 50-50 about getting another little one for her, we've had her 7 years on her own so she is our special little girl all on her own that in some ways I just can't imagine having another like her. Then there is the other half of me that would just love more than one dog to be out walking with and maybe it would keep her young, plus it doesn't help being on here with all these lovely puppy pictures!

She does have her little friends to have a wee play with though. It was lovely the other week, my neighbours sister was up staying with her 2 year old tibetan terrier and Penny got to go next door and play, it was lovely seeing her like a puppy again they even ended upstairs playing on the bed! I think now she is a bit older she probably prefers play dates and then just coming home on her own and being an only dog in the house.

As it is though its not an option, I stay with my parents and my mum isn't a dog person at all, we are lucky to have Penny the way she is, but it turned out well and my mum absolutely adores her and shes the only one for her!

I'll second that statement...she's our K9 calendar girl....I'm sure her photos would make a wonderful calendar with all the beautiful pictures you've taken of her on your walks!

She is already half way there to being a calendar girl, every year for Christmas Penny gives my mum and dad a calendar made up with her pictures :lol:
