Thank you for sharing these ... I've really enjoyed looking at them, but feeling very envious now. Bless him, Fred's clearly a trooper :) And Stanley looks so comfy on his staycation :)

You have taken lots of fantastic pictures, the Lake District is a beautiful place and Stan compliments the pictures perfectly  I love the pictures of Fred resting on his chair too  :huggles:

In my opinion Nicola these are some of the best photos youve ever taken...absolutely stunning...

really enjoyed going through your week at the lakes....youve got some lovely shots of Stan too ...he looks great and especially

like the ones of him with your hubby.....

Some stunning scenery shots too.

Aww..thank you Janis. :huggles: The scenery and the weather helped me of course

Those are all wonderful pictures, Nicola. Thank you for taking the time to post them.

Absolutely stunning views and I love the humourous comments from Stan :D :teehee:

My neighbours spend time every year in the Keswick area and always bring me back some mint cake

One of these days I would love to visit the area - and I want to stay where you were, it looks PERFECT!!!

I'm another fan of the one with the white cottage in the centre, it's lovely. The sheep are great too. You really do capture the mood of the place brilliantly Nicola.

How did you do in the photo competition? Or don't you know yet?

I must say I was very relieved to see Fred :sweating: you had me worried there when he didn't appear in any of the photos. Glad he had a lovely relaxing time with his friends :))

Thanks Julie, I won't know until later in October.

It was odd not taking Fred, I can't believe he's nearly 13 now. Time flies. When I first joined the forum he was a mere youngster at 5 years old
