just come back from vets now ,blue needs to go back on monday for sum test ther guna take sum samples from the lump and send them off to be tested as they said it to far down to be a gland ooo god im worried sick now we will have to wait then for the results to come back

Try not to worry, i know its easy to say :wacko:

Its more likely something & nothing, one of my igs went in last week to have tests done on 2 seperate lumps & i was worried sick too .

Results.................one was nothing more than fatty tissue which they left & the other a little cyst which he removed & nothing nasty. :sweating:

Whippets & igs can be prone to these little cysty fatty lumpy things & they are normally harmless :thumbsup:

somone please give me sum advice ,im worried sick ,blue had a cough come on yesterday like as if he had something in the back of his throat ,and was hacking  it was happening quiet a lot yesterday sort of like kennel cough sort of cough ,but today he hasnt been so bad only coughed a few time ,but this evening whilst having a cwtch with me i felt a lump in his throat,i will take him to vets first thing in the morning but i was wondering if dogs have like swollan glands when ther feeling unwell

thanks for all the goodluck wishes everyone it means alot :huggles: our whippet vet is ther tomoz so il feel better knowing itl be her that does the proceder and not somone we dont know ,we have to leave him ther for them to do it then pick him up later as ther not shure if they will need to sadate him or not i feel sick with worrie at the moe ,and will be even worst now waiting for the results ,i think blues milking it big time thou hes been even more spoilt than usual :huggles:

just droped blue off at the vets ,they said the procedier doesnt usually need a sedation ,but if hes being difficult they will sedate him ,does anybody know how long it takes for the results to come back once they have taken the sample .poor blue was shaking like a leaf when i left him ,god i hate all the waiting

Poor Blue and poor you... i know what its like went thro similar with Bran, it took a few days for results to come back if i remember right, i hope things come back positive for you. :luck:
