Looking at sister Nancy, she has much finer bones, less fill than her litter sister (bottom pic, right) but has turned out nicely:

I'm probably over agonizing again  Mum Starrie (Gelert's first cousin, once removed) had lovely temperament I must say, couldn't have been more pleased to see us if she'd been our own dog. All the puppies were very outgoing and friendly.

more pics, mainly of Olivia's trying to eat the camera ... :- "

I am very, very happy to have her  , I just worry far too much about everything dog-related

DO NOT WORRY!!!

Just enjoy it :) you're going to be fine!

I really wouldn't worry- I was rather hoping that ours would turn out like Nancy- she's so beautiful, and Paul thinks that she is his best.

I hadn't noticed that ours was much bigger than yours, but then Hugo refused to hold one that he wasn't going to have, so direct comparisons were rather difficult- when I rang Paul last week to discuss them he said that Esme was the smaller of the two (i do hope we haven't cursed her with her pudding name :( and that she isn't going to be a giant )

By the way- to make you feel better I am worrying that Esme's eyes seem a lot less open than yours in the photos- did you think so in the flesh?

Hugo says I'm insane to worry about things like that, but it I don't think any of us can help it

They look fine to me - you can see the iris very clearly, more so than some of the others.

I think worrying is hardwired where small, fluffy young things are concerned. I don't know how anyone survives the anxiety of human version (w00t)

Name, currently working version 'Loo' until she arrives and something else evolves.

Yes, I like wrinkles. Gelert looked like a little basenji when he arrived, really deep worry lines on his brow (which soon went, presumably for lack of practise worrying :- " ) . Is it just me or is she just a bit like a gorgeous, blue dachsie pup?

They are both absolutely beautiful

Good luck Olivia and Elizabeth with your two new babies :luck:  :luck:

What really, really gorgeous puppies

Re. names - have you seen the film The 5th Element? and its central character Leeloo? (It's one of the names on my "someday" list)

Good luck with the pups, you lucky people!

OOOOOHHHHHH   I'd love another blue bitch, maybe when Chance has pup's I'll get a litter full of them! (and HAVE TO keep them ALL)

:huggles: Congratulations - lovely whippy puppy.

It will be a lovely Christmas in your house (w00t)

And I have just noticed 'Logan' on Hilary's signature so I'll have to go back through the threads to see what a Logan is :- " (my guess is small and witha pointy nose.... :p )

Yes, lots of junior k9s aren't there? She'll be arriving in the New Year, so no puppy xmas :'( we'll be in Wales any way. I haven't mentioned her to my parents yet  They'll be overjoyed of course :- "

 Lovely babies, good luck both of you!

Esme has long been on my wished-for name list for if I ever get another little girl whether human ( don't go there) or whippy ( :b definitely more likely!)

Loo's a sweet name too, I'd be forever calling her Lulu....cute!
