I live near matey (GM) and this has had reports of this dreadful disease

Been hearing more and more about this awful disease. It's so scary!
Not many cases here in Wales so far (14).
As dog owners we just need to be vigilant, wash mud/dirty water off our dogs and health check, health check, health check!
 
Saw on FB this morning that a vet has confirmed a case in the Galashiels area..

very sad but good that they are putting the warnings out..
 
That's good news - would your average dog owner be able to access this treatment, I wonder? Even if it's not possible now, hopefully the method will be able to save dogs' lives in the future.
 
I was wondering whether the cases of rot had stopped since we've had these weeks of dry weather. If it is linked to cold wet mud there should be very few cases at the moment
 
Definitely a step in the right direction, but currently only a 33.3% success rate.
