Since yesterday Alfie has been off colour and in pain :( He started off by yelping when we touched his throat and sometimes his abdomen. Then we noticed he couldn't bark without crying. Apart from this he is passing his urine and faeces normally, and he's eating everything in sight. He is also still eager to go for a walk but you can see he is taking everything easy, no Whippy spinning or jumping or getting too excited :( He's seeing the Vet right now (but I'm at work and worrying  ) What could it be?

Hope Alfie is ok. Maybe he has got stung or swallowed a wasp? Let us know how he gets on bless him :huggles:

Poor Alfie :( I wonder if he some type of swelling in his throat that is causing him discomfort - but really don't start jumping to conclusions just wiat and see what the the vet says. Just want to say I hope he is okay :huggles: let us know how he gets on :luck: and try not to worry toooo much

hope alfie is ok and feeling better soon.

any news yet,from the vets

:luck: alfie, hope you're feeling better soon :luck:

The Vet couldn't find anything wrong.... I don't know whether that's good or bad? He was yelping in pain in the car on the way to the Vets, but he didn't make a peep whilst he was being examined  The only thing the Vet suggested was that he's twisted his body, so we've been told just to keep an eye on him for the next few days. He's just so sad and looks depressed which is heartbreaking :b

Thanks for all your well wishes :huggles:

O meant to say only lead walks for a while!!! :sweating:

:( Sorry to hear Alfie is unwell.

Is it when he is bending round, like turning his neck, doe's he look round at his back.

Or doe's he only wimper when you press in certain place's.

Just wondering as Alfie is the same line's as my Kai

awww hope alfie feels better soon :huggles:

Awww poor Alfie and poor you what a worry, I hope it all gets sorted really soon :huggles: :huggles: to both of you

Don't they just like to make fools of you sometimes, standing there without even as much as a whimper when he was examined. :b Difficult for the vet to make a diagnosis I'm sure. Hope what ever is causing him this trouble is a minor ailment

and hope he's soon back to normal. :luck: :huggles:

Yes that's typical isnt it  make you look like a hysterical owner (w00t)

If he's no better I'd have him checked again.
