The 14th of feb will be the best day for us to bring the dogs over, having the whole day to get over is the best thing at the moment. I wonder how many people we can get to come along with there whippets at one time. I dont know how we r going to arrange a particular time as its two weeks away. what do you think?

any times fine by us :thumbsup: suppose we can sort out a time more nearer the date.

wonder if tina (littlenell) can make it.

dont think theres anymore on here that live in leeds so wont be a big turn out of people.

think we need photos of your two,are they girls or boys?

Your forgot me Trish! I live in East Ardsley so only a few miles away from Beeston I've got 2 whippets, one isn't fond of other dogs although he does sometimes make an exception for other whippets (and white fluffy dogs for some reason!). Have you ever been to Middleton Park? I've never been so I don't know if there are any fenced off areas but I know of people who take their mutts there.

i play golf at miggy park. theres no fenced off areas, but would be funny seeing twenty whippets chasing round for golf balls. dont think the golfers would appreciate it tho.

No they are fawn and fawn brindle but at this time they are green and red as they will not leave the house without their coats I haven't seen a blue whippet in the village but now I will look out for one cos I love em! I didn't know the bedford arms had a darts team but I've never actually been in the pub, even after living here for 4 years :b

Yeah its a good darts team apart from me.lol. On a monday night except tonight because of the snow. Must have been someone else with the blue whippet then. Might be more in leeds than we know of. Havent seen many in beeston lately anyhow. Apart from my own ofcourse. Hope you can make the 14th. Will be good for mine to see lots of other whippets, and to have a good run around.

was going lure coursing this saturday but just had word its cancelled and is rescheduled for the 14th so sadly we carnt make this date now for the meet up so if anyone as another date we will try and come to that one. :thumbsup:

We are coursing in Holbeach so quite some way away, would be great to get some more new blood into this exciting sport.
