How is Dudley today?

How was his first night at home??

Did he whine loads?

I am at work, :( which sucks, looking at pictures of Dudley and the one of Poppy on my phone to cheer me up!

Counting the days now, love seeing pics of other pups, makes me all the more excited!

Aww it won't be long now Carla  Are you all sorted?

Last night was horrible, I hope he's better tonight. I managed to put him in his crate just as he was falling asleep on my knee and he stayed there till 0130 so a good 2 hrs then he started, whining, howling. I waited until he was quiet then took him for a wee then back to the crate, he howled for 40mins and it seemed to go on forever!!! But I didn't gine in, just sat on the stairs crying instead lol. He slept another hour then started again, only for afew mins this time though, I didn't let him out that time either. Then my alarm went off at 5am and I had to wake him to have a wee bless him but he had a good play and a big cuddle before falling asleep again so I put him in his crate and he stayed in there till 830ish in time for brekkie  I also got another 2 hrs sleep which was nice. He has been much better today, going in the crate himself and having a lie down and I've closed the door on some occasions and hes been fine. When he wakes up he howls once or twice then waits patiently until you come to see him so I hope tonight will be better  They are such clever little things and learn so fast, you just have to be strong... I wish you lots of luck with poppy

Oooh bless your heart.... I spent the first few nights in tears being the one to get up and down to Ben... they are only babies and being away from Mummy etc is such a big thing to them...

i hope that he settles soon for you.

A good tip is to catch a nap when he does during the day, like when you have a baby child

I am sure we are due some more photos of the gorgeous fella now

awwww how did i miss these???? (w00t) :b

dudley is gorg

Hi Emma

Sounds as if you did exactly right last night. I know it's hard but as long as he is okay you have to be a bit hard of hearing. He will soon settle, bless him.
