Well, it was such a lovely day today, I decided to take Gullet up north, cross the arctic circle and visit her "old" (6 mnths old, to be exact) mate Paulus.

We stopped for a wee just metres away from the Arctic Circle (which is on a mountain road, hence the snow).

Then we joined up with Ramona, her daughter Tina, Paulus the whippet (bred by K9s Malin) and Chevy the Australian Terrier:

Gullet and Paulus had a wonderful time together (Chevy had given up trying to keep up with them at the time this pic was taken):

And boy, is Paulus fast and agile! It is a pity we don't have racing or lure coursing in this part of the country, he certainly has the potential. He has also grown so handsome in the last few months, I can hardly wait to see him mature.

This is spooky picture for me, Gullet looks very much like my current dog Gelert (even the name is similar!); I used to have an almost identical small hairy thing, and I'm hopefully getting a black whippet puppy soon (w00t)

That is uncanny. Gullet's colour is really a bit more red than this particular photo might indicate, but other than that, she and Gelert (whose colour I think is spectacular, btw) certainly look very similar.

How exciting that you are getting a black whippet! I must say I think Gullet and Paulus complement each other wonderfully colour-wise. I've always wanted a blue whippet, I might have to reconsider that.

Well, I shouldn't count my whippets before they are hatched (3 weeks to go) :sweating:

Your mountains look lovely too - not dissimilar to our Brecon Beacons in Winter (though hopefully no snow to drive through for a few months yet :sweating: :sweating: )

I've always fancied visiting Norway. We don't see enough photos of Norwegian scenery.

More mountain photos please...preferably with whippets in too. :teehee:

Thank you all for the nice comments! Yes, we do have some lovely scenery. Both whippets and scenery look best in decent weather, though, which we have not had too much of lately :rant:
