What about a dog called Flashing (Flushing?) Coquette? Can anyone tell me anything about that?
The kennell name is "Flashing". I remember a noce one from there called Flashing El. Marco.
Im wrong - Silkstone Jewel in the Crown was BIS at the SYDNEY Royal, not the BRISBANE Royal
Sounds like it could be Calpin Bartic Coquette, she was born in 1950. Cannot find any catalogue from that time. I am going to the VCA library on Tuesday; will have bit of snoop around old gazattes to see if I can find something about Whippet winning BIS.Ian Doherty remembers the photo with Helen showing the whippet. He said she was much younger than when he knew her.
Yes I saw that and took note but couldn't find any record.Interestingly, somebody entered her on TWA as BIS Aust Ch Calpin Bartic Coquette, if it was BIS at the royal, wish they have put that in the notes
Coquette
I was thinking that too Jon.My money is on Calpin Bartic Coquette is the mother of Royal BIS winner Flashing Coquette.
