Hi my poor girl has a bald back leg with little itchy red spots on and every month or so her ears flare up with little red itchy lumps in them! She has been tested for everything and the vets just say it is an allergy, any advice would be greatly recieved

Have the vets done anything to test for what she might be allergic to? Some things are unavoidable and it is about management but if it is something like a specific food you could easily avoid it.

Cat food used to give one of my mum's little red spots on her stomach. Midge bites are also a consideration

Mine used to get wee red lumps in the spring in the grass. My blue boy had a bald tail which I worried about at first and then found out that blue and fawn whippets sometimes develop bald patches - particularly in winter. Something to do with the pigmentation!

Our fawn whippet has a small bald patch on her leg - did you find anything to treat it or did it mend itself?
