You could read a sentance ie What did you say. and it can be read in at least 2 different ways ie in a quizzical way or in an irrate way. This is when posts start to get a bit frought because people read things in different ways. I suppose thats when the smilies/emoticons help.

i just quite simply did not understand what was being said because i was brought up to speak and spell properly, text talk is fine if you are 15, but doing it when you are older is lazy :unsure:
