Our fawn boy Base ( PP's Base from Above) is back home for a short period.
We brought him back because his owner wasn't good enough. Base was lost, and his owner did not call me at all, and did not do anything to find him. It so dissapointing and hurts me so much.....Thank's god, a Magyar Agár breeder found him and Base was identified because he is microchipped.
He was on the bum in the suburb of Budapest (our capital)....in a forest, what is a very dangerous place for a human and for a young dog as well.
The luck is that a famous Magyar Agár breeder lives somewhere there and he recognized the breed, and took the trouble to check his chip and called me.
So we decided the owner can't get him again. Base is at home now, and we have a wonderful candidate who will pick him up in a 2 weeks time. During that he will enjoy the lovely autumn weather here in the Zemplén mountains, Hungary, with his mother and his 2 littermates we've kept (and of course the other members of our 4 legged crew).
I think that he's became one of the bests in the litter. His size is perfect; he is the smallest male in the litter (it is important because of their full US bloodline). He has lovely strong bones, and a very-very friendly and well balanced character and temperament. His new owner will show and course or race him.
So this is our sweet Base, ready to move to his REAL loving lifelong home:
