Look- I hate to be too blunt BUT-
Firstly- If you are really worried- which you clearly are by the number of topics you have started- and think that there is a serious problem for heavens sake take her to a vet who knows how these dogs work NOW and don't wait for monday.

Secondly- people have already said that 200c is too much for a little puppy, weigh her and find out how much she needs (if it can do good at one level then it is possible that it will do harm at a higher level)- why not ring the hoemopathic vet about this, I'm sure they'd tell you the correct amount

Thirdly- if the vet said to go back if she's still limping why have you not gone back?

I agree here.excuse me for putting my big nose in....... my dog Jack had a stiff neck and blood shot eye.Vet said he fine ,that was the Saturday,by Sunday Jack was no longer with us.He was 18 months. Had a brain haemo...the blood shot was the tell tale sign...I honestly believe had I gone to another vet,and followed my instinct, things could have been a whole lot different............Not telling you this info to be a "neg head" just saying you have a chance to put things right, see someone who knows about whippies specifically. xx Hope all is well

Not really sure why you posted this as if you had looked at my other posts you would have seen i have already taken her back to my vet and spoken to Simon, and posted the results

The Arnca 200c i was giving her is fine and i havent overdosed her or anything.

AND today she is much better and hasnt limped at all......

Hiya Jax, it's no compensation to you I know but the bloodshot eye could of indicated so many different things, I imagine most vets would of put it down to a trauma to the eye. ( I'm presuming the seizures occured close to the end) Nothing you could of done would of changed the outcome, please take comfort in the fact you did the best for Jack.

Was quite scared for a time, thought i had broken my new puppy in the first week :b
I do know how you feel when Hero was only 10 months old he fractured his leg. I had a 10 week old puppy at the time & they both thought it was great fun trying to chew off his pink bandage :- "

Jac :huggles:

dont blame the vet or yourself! :huggles: i had a dobe that was being prescribed steroids for arthritis and when the vet was on holiday i saw a locum vet who told me there was no way she had arthritis as the dosage of steroids she was on she should have been leaping around not crying in pain.she had maries disease.i had to have her put to sleep there at the vets.i was furious with the other vet as i thought he should have known.but dogs cant talk and tell you where it hurts or what kind of pain it is(ie,shooting, stabbing, dull, throbbing)all of which a human can and which can help a doctor to make a correct diagnosis.sorry you had this trauma but console yourself with the thought that you did do your best for your little one. ;) dont beat yourself up about it.lifes hard enough as it is without trying to take the blame for things that arent your fault.as jac says you did your best for Jack :)

Jac thank you so much for your kind words, made me cry, pmsl,I have to admitt hubby and I have tormented ourselves over Jacks death, but you are so right the bloodshot eye could have been anything and yes we loved him dearly and would have done anything to help him more, its just one of those things which can kill us or make us stronger. Well as you know jac the puppies are coming 5th feb (w00t) (w00t) and im sure they will keep us busy. Thanks again Jac xx :huggles:
