:) Hello Helen, welcome to k9, your Alfie looks lovely, what a handsome chap! Sorry, I don't know of any Bedlington-whippets available, but you'll find lots of helpful people here, so hopefully there'll be someone who can point you in the right direction....I'm assuming you've tried the lurcher rescue sites?

Wishing you lots of luck in your search :luck:

thank you. yes i've tried everywhere, lurcherlink, all the rescue sites etc. no luck as yet!

i'll keep trying though and hope some people can help me too!

Alfie is gorgeous  Very good luck with your search for a pal.

I've got some Bedlington x pups for sale. Their sire is a whippet / bedlington x JR and their dam is 5/8th Beddie, 3/8th Lakeland. They are more terrier than lurcher but still have 1/8 whippet blood.

sounds interesting! would they be rough or smooth coated? also how tall would tthey be? cheers!

Well, neither mum or dad, or grandparents, are smoooth coated... As for size, Rupert is 17'ish inches tall and Molly is around 14 inches I think, maybe a tad bigger.

There are often beddy whippets aqdvertised in the Countryman's Weekly (this is a newpaper, but I think you will probably have to ask your newagent to get it in for you, at least I did)

Hi I have found a lady that has a litter of bedlington x lurcher pups available. She is in Waterlooville and is asking £120

Sure you don't fancy a whippet? They're lovely, honest! :D

i quite fancy a whippet, but the OH loves his lurchers! we cant find a counrtymans weekly anywhere, tried every newsagents in a 50 mile radius!! well, not quite 50 miles...

waterlooville is just 10 minutes from us, so a contact number or email of this lady would be good so we can see what x the pups are.

HI, I don't have a contact number or email as it was on freeads but I will post you link so you can reply on there.

There is also a 13 month collie x bedlington for £50 in Andover, he has posted his number on the site: 01264 889304

Hopefully these will work and good luck with the search ,

Chris and Sam
