Bella had her stitches out today.
The vet is really happy with how well she has healed and the lack of hormonal complications that were a worry for us both.
She is to stay on the lead for another week to be on the safe side due to the number of internal and external stitches that she had.
I will then let her off coupled to Misty for about a week until I see what she is like off lead. . Misty is a calm quiet girl ( also single minded and stubborn )
Bella is getting used to her name and her recall in the house is good (when she can be bothered, she is a real couch potato )
I am just praying that her behaviour off the lead and recall will be OK. She can be a bit iffy barking at strange dogs we meet but from her excitement and low wagging tail, I am sure that she is just wanting to play. She also has a VERY keen interest in our local rabbit population :-
Bella continues to be an absolute star and has the most perfect house maners  She has an ever growing local fan club o
There have been no significant problems with her whippie companions and fingers crossed it stays that way :luck:
The next few weeks should prove interesting and I am looking forward to seeing her run free and play with Toddy and the others and hope that all goes well. :sweating: :luck:
New slimmer Bella
