Bella was not too happy last night at having to sleep in our room again :D She wanted to be in the dog room with 'her' pack.

First, she dashed into their bedroom and settled in at bedtime when she was coaxed out and put into our bedroom, she whined to be allowed to join the others. The raport between them all is just wonderful.

She is fine this morning and looking bright, happy and well and everything seems to be working fine :- .

Since she arrived, she has made herself right at home in the large dog bed and the others have been squeezing themselves into the small one or lounging on the floor, obviously a bit wary of the new stranger. :teehee:

Nervous little Lilly, has really taken to her and appears to have relinquished her Alpha role. She no longer barks at every dog passing the house. It will be interesting to see how the pack relationship develops over the next few weeks.

We had a breakthrough this morning however

I think will have to buy a larger dog bed :D :D :D Toddy was most put out that the girls had pinched all the space :(

aww thats a lovely picture eve

im so glad she has settled in well :huggles:

Brilliant picture Eve :D So glad she is settling in well and recovering from her op

Bella was born to be with you, Eve :D

How lovely

It's just amazing how quickly she's settled in ... she must know what home feels like now she's found it :)

Lovely to see them all getting along so well...

I agree it looks like she was meant to be there with you all....

 Bless her, you'd think she's been with you for months! Glad to hear she is recovering well

So please she is doing really well  .......Lovely photo

She looks amazingly settled in such a short time - and how fab that she's had a really positive impact on the dynamics of your pack - being leader can be stressful for a dog that's not really up to it so I think Lilly will be much happier having that pressure taken off. :))

That is so lovely to see. It is wonderful how quickly she has been accepted and how much she feels she belongs to you and yours already.

Glad that she is recovering well – it is incredibly how fast they bounce back.

Aww, what a lovely photograph and wonderful that Bella is so settled so quickly with the whole pack accepting her. It's as though she's always been part of it - it was meant to be. :*

What a brilliant photo. Looks like you are all set for a happy future together  Great news.

What a gorgeous picture of them all Eve    I am so glad her recovery is going so well and to look at that picture you would think she had always been with you :huggles: Looking forward to hearing more about her wonderful new life in future posts :D

What a beautiful photo Eve. So pleased she's found a special home with you and her new pack. Thank you for keeping us updated. x

So pleased that bella is doing well after her operation, it is lovely to see her so comfortable and curled up with the rest of your pack :huggles:

Gorgeous , I think the others have just been waiting on Bella to arrive

what a lovely picture! she looks like shes been there all her life.glad shes recovering so well :)

Bella is continuing to do well but still a bit wary and nervous but she has only been with us 6 days.

She has a check up at the vets tomorrow to ensure that there is no internal bleeding.

She is making herself very at home and is desperate to rush around and play with Toddy when he takes one of his 5pm mad turns..

It is quite a worry as it is only 48 hours since her major OP.

It is also proving quite difficuilt keeping her off our bed which is quite high. She just magically appears there especially if my husband is in it  :- :D

I think there is a fun loving girl bubbling just below the surface and I am sure that she and Toddy are going to have lots of fun once she is allowed to run about again..

Bella is just back from her check-up.

The vet is really happy with her progress and says that she is healing well and the stitches are looking good.

I am really pleased that she has not touched her stitches at all and does not need to wear a collar.

She has now had her 1st innoculation too. I decided she should have the full course as I have no evidence that it has ever been done.

Her stitches come out a week today. I can't wait as she will then be allowed to play in the garden with the others.

She has also been given the go ahead to sleep with the others in the dog room at night rather than our bedroom. She is a but clingy and cries if left on her own (unless she has a couple of dogs for company) and I do not want her developing a seperation anxiety by becomming to used to sleeping in our bedroom. Fingers crossed for a quiet night :luck: :sweating: -_- -_- -_-
