This kind of thing doesn't just happen on sand, there are loads of pictures that Scotty has taken that show the same thing, also there were some that digiman did at Aycliffe which shows the same position.

Yes theres even camera trickery on the straights :- "

Just a thought, if the foot bends this much then surely an imprint would be left on the sand. In all the years I've walked on tracks I've never noticed any ;)

You should stick to inspecting the grass Sherlock Fletcher and the growth of it

sand is not as simple ----- lol :sweating: :sweating: :sweating: alright for under Blackpool pier where it should be---donkey derby--lol

steve

Blackpool pier mmmmm, that brings back some fumbling memories :b and not forgetting Mods & Rockers (w00t) and got the scar to prove it

Just got back from Old Hall, specifically looking for bendy feet. Didn't see one :- "

lol what will it take to make you a believer? there's loads of pics and scans from books written by experts studying high speed video yet some people need to see it with there own eyes. It's a bit inconvienient when it happens too fast for the eye to see.

Those photos from outer space are all camera trickery as well. We all know the bloody earth is flat, you just need to look at it. :D

Hey Geoff have you spotted what were on the BWRA Champs Trophies (w00t) (w00t)

Well I've made a new friend from all this. :D I've been emailing Steve Nash who is the U.K's top greyhound photographer. I initially contacted him last sunday and he thought at first it was an April fools gag

I reassured him I wasn't photoshopping anything and that Deneside Belle wasn't injured. I also sent him a load more snaps just to show it's not a one off and also gave him the spec of my camera and the settings used on particular shots.

He thinks they are doing it but he is surprised at how much the whippets are bending as it isn't as severe with greys. He sent me a few of his photos that are similar but it is hard to know how bent they are as there's a lot of sand sprayed up with these bigger dogs.

He's now just as curious as me and is going to ask for some vets' opinions

Check out his site for some stunning work, his main gallery is down at the moment but he says it'll be up and running again soon.
