I am taking my dog benji to the vets tonight, he is 18 years old. Lately he has been losing weight gradually and has had a tremor. Some of you may remember me saying that he had a lump in his throat, which had thankfully disappeared. However he has gone off his food is drinking very little and walks round with his head down. Hopefully this is just a phase hes going through but we are preparing for the worst. Please send us your luck. thankyou

Thanks every one! it has all paid off. took benji last nite but cudn't bear to go in so dad took him in while i sat in waiting room. Could hear the vet say well youve got to think hes 18 and had a good life, that was me reli crying. Next thing door open and out pops benji. (w00t) i cudn't believe it!!! the vet sed he has a heart mummour and a chest infection, so hes been injected with anti biotics. He said that there could be a difficult decision to make further down the line but hes good for now. Hes even eaten all his meat today. The vet was saying about him being 18 and had a good life because he didn't want to put him through the stress of having an xray which i agree with. We are all so relieved
