Hi
I was just wondering which dog food other whippet owners consider to be the best?
When we brought Daisy home at 8 weeks old she was on Pedigree Complete puppy chicken and rice dry food which she seemed to enjoy (although she'd eat anything! (w00t) (w00t) ) but she had quite frequent tummy upsets (and it only had a minimum of 4% chicken  ) so we switched to Iams complete puppy chicken dry food. This has kept her in good condition but very occasionally she has days when she has a bit of a tummy upset and she won't eat it although she'll quite happily scoff her treats and Denta-sticks. This makes me think she doesn't really enjoy as much as she thought we did. She's 11 months now and she'll soon be going on to adult food; we were going to continue with Iams but I've read some bad reviews about it, not just about the poor quality of the food and the ingredients but also about the way Iams test their food on animals causing them unnecessary suffering. Plus, it is quite expensive, considering it's hardly "top of the range".
So which adult dog food do you think would be best for us to feed Daisy? Price doesn't matter too much; we only want the best for our doggy and I've heard that a lot of these expensive brands are good value for money because you don't need to feed as much.
Thanks so much for your replies
