Hi everybody on K9 !
A bit of news, : Betsi have to get to only 1 more injection but she is still loosing muscles ...
Tomorrow she will pass to pills that are not so strong as the injections and so tuesday we will know exactly if she is stable or not ...
She is not still bale to open her mouth more than befror so she continue to eat with a spoon and a aby food mixed with meet cans.
Same for the water, 60 to 80 ml every 3 hours with a syringue ...
She sleep a lot in my bed or a very confortable bedding due she is very much skin and bones ...
That's all for today and will keep update everyday ...

Thinking of Betsi and you Stephy
hi k9ners ...
Excsue me I did not psot any news yesterday nor early today ...
Betsi started the pils yestersday (sunday) have we have to stop all treatment today for her auto-immune desease due she have horrible diarrheas ( from yellew to black and smell :x )
So as you could imagine she have to drink even morewith my help
She was just able to open her mouth to eat but as she realise eating produce stomac troubles she refuse to eat , or just the minimun I am putting her in a spoon and in her mouth ... and have to do the same with water ...
But the worst is that, if we go on with the cortisone treatment then she with diarrhea but to stop this problem we have to stop the cortisone treatment who indeed will produce even more damage ... she was still loosing muscles too ...
Tomorrow we will see the vet at 10 am and we will have a long talk ...
To decide what is the best to do with her .. :unsure:
My Dear Betsi she is such an o she never complain anytime before nor now ...
But her eyes are saying everything ....
Of course I will give you the vet verdict tomorrow

Hi K9ners,
Well Betsi still the same stage with her desease she had fever yesterday and now we forced her to eat a liquid food and it seem to get her stable ...
We will ahev blood results tomoorw at 15h ...
Her desease will not go away one day for another and at least she might have a life without pain for a certain time but we do not know how long ...
She could go down next week next month or tomorrow ...
We are trying to control her diarrhea and vomits with medication and injection ...
today and yesterday it worked but if I stop the treatment then she will return to the bad times laying all the time ...
It is a life day to day with her now ...

Here is the verdict : the vet who is indeed a best friend told me today that if do not managed to stop the diarrhea and vomit it mean that she is doing a stomac annd intestinal hemoragia ... and we could not do anything anymore for her due the high level of cortisone she had in her blood ...
we have to stop the diarrhea but anything she eat give her this sickness ...
So it will up and down for more 4 days and we will see ...
Yes I try to have positive thought but after all this time treating her by my own all the time it is a bit difficult ...

she is still alive, skinny eating soup X cans mixing but without any help ...
It is at leat a progress .
she is now since two days again in low pills cortisone and it seem she is reacting well but only monday we weill know if she passes all these days without vomit and diarrhea ...
She passed 1 foot to death and I am proude to have done that to her ...
We know her desease have no treatment but if we could take her for few months or years if she able to eat soup by herself it is good enough for me ...
I spent terrible momenta and there are still up and down days but I think the worst is gone before the ultimate day ...
She is my joy, she is my life and I would like to keep her alive for ever ...
