My old girl is 12 today

She had a lovely dinner of brocoli, carrot, pasta and ham on top of her usual food and has slept nearly all the day away :wub:

She didnt get any presents as the whippets steal every thing not nailed down and she has been diagnosed with a heart murmur so I'm worried that if she gets too excited she will have a heart attack.

Shes off to the vets tomorrow for an ultrasound to see what kind of murmur it is or why shes got one now. I didnt want her to be at the vets on her birthday so we will find out the results and get her something appropriate tomorrow

Well her heart is not so bad, they were checking to see if she had frayed edges or if it was getting too musclely(sp)I cant remember the proper terms :b anyway it is neither but then there was something in front of her heart so they sedated her and xrayed, and that was fine too result one spangled greyhound who had to be carried out on a blanket. So she is fine just staying with the vasculer problems for now and hopefully have many more birthdays :cheers:
