I'm shocked by this sad news. Best wishes to you and Storm.

Terrible news John, hope things work out for you and we see Storm at the shows this year. :luck:

As John and his veterinarian make their treatment decisions, they will have to balance how much chemotherapy is likely to assist Storm vs how much the "side effects" are likely to distress and discomfort him. But cost might be another aspect of the decision-making. Perhaps a k9er who knows John well or corresponds with him regularly could update us on the situation. I've noticed that sometimes k9ers with paypal accounts have organised auctions, greeting card sales and the like to help rescue dogs and to help with the costs of advertising and searching for dogs. So perhaps such action would be possible if needed in this case.

also it might be helpful to read the experiences of other people with dogs who had lymphoma -- especially if their dogs responded favourably to treatment, but I suppose it's important to consider worst scenarios also

i had to come on here to thank everyone for there genuinie concern, im overwhelmed to say the least. sorry if i havent replied individually but im really grateful for the txts pms and emails. at the minute there seems to be no change in his health or condition, hes still shiney ! i should hear the next results of the stainings taken next week. ill keep you updated.

:) When John 'phoned me this morning, he asked that I pass on a message for him, as, understandably, he isnt spending too much time on K9 at the moment. Anyway, he is truly astounded at the number of messages/emails etc etc he has received with regards to the awful news of Storm and hopes that people understand if he doesnt reply individually. But he does send HUGE thanks to everyone. :huggles:

With regards to the cost of possible treatments, John appreciates the kind thoughts that a fund may be set up, but as he pointed out, STORM is well insured and in light of this, he would rather people perhaps saved their monies for other causes.

Lets all just concentrate on sending positive vibes for undoubtedly, one of the most handsome boys on K9
