Welcome to K9 Billy,I see you've settled in easily :thumbsup: Enjoyed reading your comments but I have to disagree with working a whippet/greyhound,at least one for racing.Don't know what you call a whippet/greyhound over in Ireland but we call them 'Do or die merchants'.Don't get me wrong the odd accidental run can't be helped,or even a bit of ferreting to help keen an unwilling chaser,but to lamp a whippet/greyhound I think is asking for trouble.I've been there and done that,watched a dog stoop to pick up a rabbit while running flat out.The following tumbles of the dog are not a pretty site,and to be honest a dog thats rag crazy doesn't give you an edible rabbit especially if another dog is in the viscinity.
Can't wait to see yours pups next year in the simmo Mark.Being Collie crosses and having a bit of brain means I think you are gonna have a few problems with the gates :- "

All I meant by my comment was.Working dogs especially Collie Xs soon get wise to simmo so there's every possibility they'll start missing the gates.

Lord help you if you lose next year.People will be queing up to put the results on here.

Your pups have run really well for you :thumbsup: nobody has said they haven't,but there's only so much bragging you can do and I think you've pushed yours to the limit.Best wishes for next year Karen

do you mean jerry who is with mike?????? i am glad she doesnt care i dont either the pup beat tigger today the dog that won midland for last 2 yrs 04 05 in the overs but lost to her aunt again joe has decided to keep her and breed her but she will loose tomorrow thanks mark

As all our race talk got on your nerves Peony -_- Sorry but I've loved every bit of it Infact I think i've got some photos of racing at Chatsworth,might have to sort them out and put them on here.Could keep this thread going for a while yet.At least long enough for John to sort out the photo of Billys dog,then we could start all over again Karen
