China is 11 months this week and ive been wondering when she should have her first "break" ? whats the earliest youve experienced your bitch having a season.

ive always had dogs so this is new to me

john..with stripey injured dog whos engaged to a black monkey

my tia had her first season at 9mths stormster and boy did all hell break loose (w00t)

Spry was nine months but both Callie and Sienna were 10 and 11 months, she might be a bit quiet and moody, but if like mine will keep herself very clean John

Sada was 9 months, K is just over and no sign as of yet :))

Sada was really quiet when it started, moped about all unhappy,

then she got bad tempered and then she was a slapper

It will be better if she does because the alternative is that she will find him VERY attractive and flaunt herself at him

Callie and Sienna becaome moody and hate Kane but Spry, well 7 puppies say she was the opposite

Mine were 16mths/18mths/21mths/23mths for their first season :sweating:

Our girls were 9 months and 12 months.

I think they do geta bit sulky and moody before, Holly was quite narky with the boys thsi time round. And with Ruby she got very funny with judges going over her at shows a whole month before she came into season

jeez can be anything then really i guess. ok next question...how soon before other dogs took notice ?

i mean..will i come home some day to find my 2 having a post-sex shower ? how soon will Colt let me know or will China be obvious thats shes about to break ?

john...with the engaged dogs and youre all invited to the wedding !

My girls came in season at 10 month ,11 months and 12 months but 2 of Angel's sisters came in to season at 6 months.

On the other hand Button is now 2 1/2 and still has not had her first season I have spoken to her trainer and she told me she has never had a season and has never been supressed to keep her racing.

When one of my bitches is coming into season the boys first start sniffing round the girls and were they have wee'd and licking at the ground were the bitch has been

Bow had her first season about 15 mths now shes every 6-8 mths

just make sure you dont get on her nerves and for god sake agree with everything she says :- "

thats a women-in-general thing i reckon anyway. now im really shitting it..as if its not bad enough i have to do that with humanoids i now gota do it with black monkeynoids too ....oh crap

tea is 9 months now, and i am still waiting!!

One of my bitches had her 1st season at 6 months, most of my others around 9-11 months, My tegan will stand from day 5-20 (w00t) i now its unusual and she doesnt have much swelling either, some others look more like babboons. Tegan never gets grumpy either, she just wants a Dog :b while some do get grumpy, all different i suppose, just the luck of the draw.....Hope all runs smoothly for you

One of the first signs that she is coming into season is that she will do alot more weeing , :D

I think it relates back to the `wolf days` when they would need to let the males know they were nearly ready for breeding , , maybe not, as I know in wolf packs only the Alpha female has pups.

But I know if one of my girls tends to do a lot of `marking ` that she will be in season within a short time , and dont forget , bitches can be mated form as early as day 5 (w00t) or as late as day 26 or even longer (w00t) (w00t) . Ive had both scenarios when in greyhound kennels ;)

Also , its not a good idea to mate her on her first season . what ever age she is IMO  They are usually really `heavy`with the first , lots of swelling too ,I remember Libbee looked like a baboon

Let the hormones balance out first

Have we seen any pictures of the little `madam?

Hi John...I`ve just come across this. My bitches have all started at around 7/8 months and all have been like the dogs above......Very amorous and wanting a dog so watch them !! Some of the girls can be real `hussies` pushing their bottoms in the dogs face etc... hahahahaha !

If you are going to mate her leave her to have 2 or 3 seasons first.

My Cassie has just been in season and she was very swollen and chasing all the girls around  She remained her sweet natured self throughout though as have all my bitches I`ve ever had.

One thing to look out for is a `false pregnancy` where their nipples are pronouned and actual milk in her teats..You can get around this by giving her soft toys to `mother` but keep an eye on her.

I`m sure all will go well. Good luck !!

Love the photos..she is lovely !!!
