That is just the problem though isn't it?? its not just a few - its a great long list of bitches due in the next few weeks!Seems a real shame that folks are getting into arguments, over something that happens all the time in the whippet world.Ped(show or race) or non ped pups are bred to compete in whatever discipline.Cannot see a problem in that. The fact that folk do not breed willy nilly but consider breed lines and the actual sire or dam used, means that alot of thought goes into the actual breeding before it happens. As with the rest of the whippet world, our dogs are our pets. The majority proberbly live in the house rather than kennels.Cannot see why it is thought, that because a few whippet owners have bred from there bitches, the resulting pups will struggle to find the correct homes. There's quite a few non ped owners, and if you follow the results of the matings i'm sure you'll see that the pups will all find good homes
and its not the initial good homes that concerns me most, it is when they haven't made the grade as I have said before, but as has been said, you all look after your dogs so well and the puppies will be fine, so all well and good!
