Mac was mad fresh today and was running as fast as he could in the snow. Next thing Lissie the Border Collie decided to "herd" him and they collided. Mac seemed fine and never made a sound. Suddenly I realised he was bleeding from the mouth. A lot... I got a bit stressed and tried to have a look. Turned out he had bit his lip, and because he had just been running the blood was really pooring out. Looked really dramatic!! Now he has a lovely veranda lip and is sulking...

Poor Mac - hope he bounces back soon. :luck: :huggles:

Oscar got a stick under his tongue last year (Vets job) mouths do bleed dont they?? (w00t)

I got to look today, and after a lot of searching I found the tiniest little hole in his lip..... Tiny..... Just as well I never took him to the vets and spent a fortune on nothing...

Has the "veranda" subsided yet?? Poor Mac,I bet he felt real sorry for himself. :huggles:

Poor Mac, I hope he feels better now.

I can just imagine what it must have looked like in the snow, I bet anyone walking there later thinks there must have been a murder with all the blood!! (w00t)

Veranda lip is gone and so is the little hole. The blood in the snow is still there, to everybodys delight.....

Mac is now more concerned about his feet, it has been about -10, -15 here.... He is actually trying to walk without putting his feet on the ground... And he spends the rest of the day in the bathroom on the heated floor.
