Looks like we needn't have worried about them not getting on. Here are some photos from earlier today:

Oh that has made me well up a bit seeing him cuddling up to Blue.

Give Blue a huge kiss from me for being such a sweet and lovely boy with Alfie.

Awww Alfie is obviously just what Blue has been waiting for to make his life complete

Im so glad that Blue is pleased with his nephew! The photo's are lovely :)

Aww Jill, look at them

Whippets are fantastic , they just love other whippets :D

Aww Alfie couldn't look more happier and settled. I bet it is lovely for Jo and Rachel to see this :huggles:

Lovely pics Jill, what a lovely boy Blue is and he looks as though he's really taken to Alfie. I haven't had time to do any more pics yet, this puppy watching lark really is a full time occupation! One question, does Alfie push the boundaries with Blue and, if so, what does Blue do?

Well, on the first day we were more worried about Blue being too rough as Alfie is bringing out his playful side but yesterday and today Alfie has been instigating a lot of the play and when Blue's had enough he stands over him or kind of leans on him a bit  Alfie tends to take the cue and lie down but we're supervising them all the time when they're playing together and if Alfie doesn't take the hint we move him away from Blue for a minute to give him peace.

How's it going with Gracie?

Beautiful photos. Archie is very handsome and looks well settled already with his (just as handsome) new mate Blue.

its made my day seeing these pics jill they really are a gorgeous pair

What sweet photos. Hopefully I will be posting similar photos myself in a couple of weeks time.

It's lovely to see them together. I love the first picture it's almost like Blue is saying 'have a look at this' to Alfie.

Last night Gracie was very exuberant with Tilly and Tilly gave a few growls which Gracie ignored and in the end Tilly perched (literally) on the top of the back sofa cushion and would have nothing more to do with her. This morning, having thought about it overnight, Tilly was more assertive and Gracie did back off. I monitor it all time with the three of them and the dynamics have changed but that was bound to happen adding a third dog. A goldie breeder friend of mine arrived today and saw them all in action and said it was all quite normal. I'll post some more pics but I just keep running out of time. The latest pics of your two are gorgeous, I must try and take some decent ones! :D

Blue and Alfie look so happy together, thanks for sharing the pictures
