Hope things are Ok with Talli and the pups. You are right it's all in the hands of mother nature , you've done as much as is possible or feasible. But these waiting games are awful. Thinking about you all K and the lads xxxx
 
He's back under his Mum's leg being licked and cuddled.

The local chemist managed to find me the ideal little pipette dropper to help feed him so I was able to get it into his mouth easily and he was able to swallow a little milk from his tongue.

He's took a good quantity of milk (for him anyway) and although his little chest isn't fantastic he seems warm and content.

Don't want to get our hopes up yet as it could all change so quickly but he's comfortable and showing no signs of distress, it's all we can ask.

NOT TO BAD WITH THE FAGS LINDA AS I HAVE HAD A CHEST INFECTION ONLY JUST GONE BACK TO WORK ONLY 80% RECOVERED BUT NEEDS MUST. LITTLE FLY HAS POOED

TO-DAY SO WE ARE TAKING THAT AS A GOOD SIGN,HE HAS ONLY PUT ON A TINY AMOUNT OF WEIGHT BUT HOPEFULLY WITH THE NEW FEEDING SYSTEM YOU NEVER KNOW.ALL THE LOVE COMING HIS WAY FROM k9 HAS REALLY HELPED US SO I'M SURE IT'S HELPING HIM LOVE TOYOU ALL YOUR WARM WISHES ARE GREATFULLY RECIEVED

Long may he live to keep poohing, Bless him, he's certainly not a quitter. Make sure you look after yourselves as well , all these broken nights when you've had a bad chest infection, must be very draining. It's the most frequently asked question in this house , How's the Fly doing ?? James thinks he's going to grow wings, Hope that's just another one of his lies, not a preminition.......... AFRAID NOT KENNY HE TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORSE IN THE NIGHT AND DESPITE OUR BEST EFFORTS HE WON'T TAKE NOURISHMENT OF ANY KIND EVEN THE PUPPY STIM ROLLS BACK OUT OF HIS MOUTH AS HE IS MAKING NO EFFORT TO SWALLOW.TALLI BURIED HIM UNDER THE DUVET AND WOULD'NT HAVE ANY THING TO DO WITH HIM.BLAZE IS LAYING IN THE BED NOW AND HAS LICKED THE PUP ALL OVER HE IS NOW LAID BETWEEN BLAZE AND THE HOT WATER BOTTLE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO CARE FOR HIM AND GIVE HIM OUR LOVE BUT WE ARE NOT OPTOMISTIC FOR THE OUTCOME.I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT HE HAS SURVIVED FOR 9 DAYS WHEN HE MUST HAVE ONLY BEEN AROUND2oz BORN HE HAS PUT UP SUCH A FIGHT GOD LOVE HIM. Sorry to hear he's not doing very well, you are doing a great job, it's such a shame :( lets hope he picks up again :luck:
 
I'm so sorry poor little lad,its a strange thing but the mother knows I've seen it before with our abbey with the whinny skippit litter

there was a little black dog you could see by looking at him there was something wrong with him but i tried all night with him but our abbey just

kept nudging him away,the mother knows its a awful thing to sit and watch as we are helpless the pup seems to hang on.

i feel sorry for the little lad,but thats mother nature she can do awful things sometimes.sorry again.kenny
 
AT 3.45pm LITTLE FLY FINALLY LOST HIS BATTLE FOR LIFE HE WAS CERTAINLY A LITTLE FIGHTER AND I'M SURE HE WILL FIND HIS NEXT LIFE A MUCH LONGER ONE. AGAIN OUR GRATEFUL THANKS TO ONE AND ALL YOU'VE BEEN A HELP AND AN INSPIRATION LOVE TO ALL JUDITH :wub: :wub: :wub:

So so sorry to read this Judith and Elise, he put up such a valiant fight for life but some things are just not meant to be. Wishing you all the luck in the world with your little singleton pup now hes lost his brother :luck: :luck: :luck:
