Recently returned from a narrowboat holiday. OH was out for 8 weeks altogether, and I joined him for the last 3 weeks.

Dolly and Remmy love looking out and watching the world go by. :huggles:

That looks wonderful. It is something we have always fancied doing. Never know, maybe next year when the boys are bigger. :)

Great pictures, love the first one of Dolly and Remmy in their matching collars

Great Pics.

The dogs look as if they are really enjoying themselves.

How many times did they fall in? (w00t)

I could imagine having to keep a large neat handy as Ruby would definatley be in there!!!

We went on a weeks sail down the Kennet and Avon just after we got married it was fantastic, so peaceful and great pubs and pub grub all the way down.

oh and I seem to remember sun all those years ago :- "

Fantastic. I sure mine would all have been in the water.

Bobby has fallen off the back of the boat a few times, but swims with no problem. Bobby and Dolly have both slipped off the gangplank as they tend to 'scrabble' up it as it's a bit slippy.  I don't think Remmy has fallen in yet. :- "

It is a great holiday for the dogs and they all really seem to enjoy it and get into the routine. When we go through locks the girls are always shut in the boat for their safety, and Bobby sits on the back with OH steering. You can guess who does most of the locks. :sweating: :sweating:

:) Lovely pics of your dogs  bet they have a great time on the boat

Sonia and Jesse xx

Lovely photos of your gang  ....That looks like a very relaxing holiday (well apart from doing the locks that is  )

Ooh I almost missed this. Nice photos (except i can't see the 2nd & 3rd ones :( ). I was only thinking we hadn't seen any boating photos from you for a while. :)

I'm into reading about narrow boats at the moment. I've just finished reading Terry Darlington's , 'Narrow Dog to Carcassonne' book (lent by Gillian), and have just bought myself , 'Narrowboat Dreams', a journey North by England's waterways, by Steve Haywood. It doesn't have a whippet in it though  Hopefully off to look at Marple's 12 locks and aqueduct at the weekend.

Any more piccies? :p Thanks for sharing  Dolly, Remy and Bobby are just scrumptious
