ive just bought 7 hard bones that are filled with some meaty stuff from the pet shop ,im hoping they will keep my lot busy for awhile on saturday while where at my daughters wedding.

just wondered if anyone had a recipe so that i can restuff them again when theyve finished them.

trish iv got these for my lot they loved them , i restuff them with either peanut butter or minced chicken and or beef or salmon paste they blooming love em

The filling inside the bought bones, sometimes gives mine the runs....

but I re-use the bones by putting all sorts of fillings inside them. The filling inside yours Trish may be fine.

My fillings:

Pate

Tuna or Sardines..

Cream cheese

mashed up meat & scraps

I think mine would all be the size of Great Danes if I gave them those (w00t)

I shall stick to the rawhide chews for now ........... boring but low calorie :lol: :thumbsup:

im only ever out once a week and thats only for 30mins top,wish i had more of a life sometimes :b

this satrday they will be in for the biggest shock when im at my daughters wedding from 12.30pm till 5ish :lol: plus got my cousins lad to sit with them and they dont know him really at all :sweating:

Gypsy likes the filled horses hooves..........once she has the filling out i put liver and garlic back into it............all mashed up from the handblender..........bit smelly though :x

But i cant let them have them when im not about Because

:lol: Anne thats just like Kobi here...I have to supervise or else hed be in the bed downstairs with his and Oscars....while Oscar watches stupidly... :unsure:

Archie wouldnt give his up mind for anything... :lol:

What a great idea to put fillings in the bones once they're empty - ive just been to Tesco & bought some peanut butter. Thanks for the idea.

I have melted some cheese and mixed it together with either complete food, mixer meal, brown bread chopped veg, pour it in whilst hot (make sure bones are flat on end on a chopping board) wait till cool, takes 'em ages to get it all out, especially if it a kong... :thumbsup:
