I was starting to wonder if this "Boston 2004" was actually a dog show or a parade of k9 celebrities

Do we have any results? :p

THANKS FOR THAT , DAWN !!!

T amara , I think I must have been concentrating on showing one of my dogs . Not the best pic of me thats for sure ,

Im with you Russ and Debs . Dawn will really have to watch out now , Mind you it was more than likely Richard who took the shots ;)

BOB was June Cox Rearsbly Tarquin , R bob Nevs Nutshell of Nevedith Best puppy was one bred by June , ( sorry dont have a catologue, too mean !!) Libbee was 2nd in a large class ( for Newark) of 11 , So I was well pleased with that :D Mikkee was 3rd in Junior ( behind Nev :( ) Really enjoyed the day , and of course Mayzee  won best Veteran 11yrs and over , the Judge said she could quite easily have won the younger Vet class too :)) shes still so sound

Got home to a sunday dinner of roast beef , yorkshire pudding , the works :- " Most of the dogs had been fed too ,

Oh my! Who's trying to butter you up then???? ;)

Just lurve the photos! Glad I wasn't there as I would have ended up looking like Mr Blobby.

 We went to Bridlington instead where my best boy BJ got the Hound Group and yours truly won the 17-50 years handling class. Judge for this was someone who took it very seriously writing points down on a board and then totting them up to see who scored the most. Took longer to add the points up than it did for everyone to do their bit. Won a Monet diary set, so if you come to Ashfield it will be in the raffle, it's much too sophisticated for me.

Was good weather wise too. Pedro went collecting Mussels and Cockles at Flamborough Head, just returning in time to see me win the Group. As usual Pedro thought we'd won Crufts (!). Didn't do anything in BIS, it went to a Goldie with a Leonburger reserve. Preferred the LB to the Goldie myself.

 BJ then had his reward a lovely long run on the beach, splashing through the pools, till he wore himself out which for him takes some doing.

Have been very brave though and entered for Doncaster on 9th Jan, but only because Whippets are on first and we can go home before the ice sets in!

Must admit the pic of JAX & Debs are not the most flattering.

Must put it down to the Bucks Fizz we were all supping - except Richard who had coffee!

At least the pics were better than the previous show's unposted lot which were definitely NOT for public exposure LOL

So APOLOGIES ladies

:p  Sounds like you all have a great time at these shows anyway. sounds like Im missing out.

Love the last picture by the way. (Wed probably recognise everyone by their dogs anyway.)

Good Luck Everyone

For me Dog showing is as much a social thing as showing my dog  , yeh Ok we all go to try to win our class and more if possible , but at the end of the day I enjoy meeting my mates ( and DEBS  ) , having a laugh , pulling other peps dogs to bit s :- " ( joking !!) and having a day out with my dogs
