not having a go at you Karen but i hear ed more complaints over the size of your scratch dog than most i know he is non ped it doesn't bother me at all but other folks have moaned :( i think before long especially with this witch hunt or should i say topic :- " scratch racing will be playing right into the hands of those wanting a weight cap putting on in the scratch if this happens there will be a lot of big dogs looking for homes like i said not having a go at you but this seems to be getting out of hand just like to add i dont agree with running a greyhound with whippets or lurcher's but once you set a precedent then where will it end if someone dosnt like the look of a dog or the owner will it be oh i know lets have dna done  whoever races a greyhound in whippet or lurcher events know they havnt won on level ground and must live with it :( its only a hobbie :)

K9 is supposed to be a discussion board so whilst rules and principles are debateable, we do not like to feel that K9 is being used to pursue individuals which is pretty obvious, even to an outsider, that that is what is happening here. Now that calls for "naming and shaming" etc are being made, I think its best that this topic is closed. I think that it has run for long enough for everybody to make their views known and is now going round in circles anyway. I hope you all understand the reasons for closing it and can I ask that nobody just starts up another thread on this subject as it has reached a more personal level. Thankyou
