Hi - just wondering who was going to this Sundays lure coursing? :D

I've entered 4 dogs and I think Millie is coming along for the ride with baby Sophie.

BSFA is based permanently at Newbury now Masta, but use five different fields.

:) Yep I will be coming along...........

but poor Freeway will have to stay at home this time :(

Here he is now sporting a nice yellow bandage

He's due to have the caste removed next Tuesday and will just have a soft bandage on to support his leg until he get used to walking on his leg again.

Vets very pleased with how well its coming along !

Glad to here that things are coming along nicely with Freeway

Sorry, don't have photographic evidence (will try and get some this afternoon) Ollie is currently modelling the new line in Flourescent Lime Green :x :x

We have xrays on Wednesday to see how the toe is and hopefully we will then be able to return to life without a splint :D but no excape from a lot of crate rest for a while for poor woebeggotten Oliver Winx :(

Must admit, was a little diappointed that the pressure sore was quite bad on his hock when we did the bandage change on Tuesday, poor man. I know you have to expect these things, but even so

Sorry to hijack your thread Jo :b Hope you all have a good day, injury free :luck:

We won't be going either :'( :'( :'( :'(

Verdict (finally, after lots of messing around  ) is a chipped toe bone - another 2 weeks in plaster, then 3 weeks of bandaging with mutterings of amputation if it hasn't worked.

However, he is very well in himself, charging around on 3 legs and even managed to escape to the field for a bunny chase while I was away :sweating:

Sadly not! :(

We are down in Andover for the Charity open (Fynn's first go at Open racing), Rae wasn't going, then was, but not sure at the moment as she has a busy week-end with the caravan site. Can't make May either :(

Have a good day and hope all toes remain in their sockets

Oh dear 3 whips in bandages :( Lots of :huggles: to all three of them. Stan the man will miss his little running partner this time.

Louis the tyke will be coming along too, just to watch and perhaps a little trial for the lad :D

Mr Winx is VERY jealous of Stan, but hopes he has a good run :luck:

Hope Louis enjoys himself (w00t)

Oooohhh, I forgot it was on this weekend!

I doubt I'll be able to go this time- got lots of family/ OH things planned... :- "

Well the results are...

A great day was had by all!!

Had to leave before the end, there were about 90 dogs there today so was looong day. Not quite as many whippets as usual but lots of other sighthounds - some wonderful coursing. Archie and Stan enjoyed themselves no end (despite Archies partner vacating his bowels pretty much in his face whilst running!!)

Even Louis had a little trial

Cutie pie Sophie was there :* and all of Dessies crew - including Bertha who had a fantastic second course with Digger :D

Nice to see everyone and most importantly the dogs all had fantastic time and no injuries
