We eventually made it to a meeting (be it the last one of the season!) and had an absolutely great day out :cheers: Archie & Stan took to it like naturals nad did me proud - I took home 2 VERY tired but very happy hounds :huggles:

It really was great and lovely to meet up with all the K9'ers :thumbsup: Can't wait til March now.

Nice to meet you Jo - I think Stan and Archie definitely had a good day out didn't they. See you there again next Spring perhaps.

We were gutted to miss it but poor Archie - the other half of team 'fawn whoppet' can't run yet after hurting his toe at the last one.

Who is Lucy, Corabella Star? I think you need 3 BIFs and/or a certain number of cumulative points to get LM (I've lost the bit of paper with the details on, please correct me if I'm wrong :wacko: ).

I think Digger and Corabella star are nearly there on 2 each (but I don't know what happened last year), Gelert has been just behind them each time out, with 1 BIF.

Actually its is three best of breeds and 200 points = Lure courser of merit

BIF is just a bonus ! :thumbsup:

Ah right so they don't get there long hair until later, I have only ever seen an Afghan once at a show :b what a sheltered life I've led :teehee: Thanks Millie :thumbsup:

LOL .......It take's 3 year's for an Afgan to be fully coated .........and the hair on the pup's face's are called monkey whisker's (w00t) ..........this often fall's out as they get older, or is "helped" out by the owner's if it show's no sign of budging :- " .......
