Robert was waiting on the doorstep for us to get home with her .She is the apple of his eyes.

She is being such an o:) not barking crying or anything she's fine with the cat and the other dogs and William's so in luuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrvvvvvveeeeeeee

and she coordinates so very nicely with Himself too

She is lovely William is so good to welcome all these dogs and let them in his food bowl, my 2 would have had her pinned in a half nelson if she went near their food.

I can't believe that she was swearing, such a lady   , I think William might be telling tales 8)

Glad she is making herself at home :) she looks happy

We were at the Bodell kennels on Sunday to see our 3 x 10 mt old racing pups, Spot's daughter's.They have a 2 acre field with shelter and are being brought in at night, we hope to have them home at Christmas . Hazel said Button's had gone to a showing home.

How is she bred

:luck: with her lillibet

Her sire is Droopys Vieri and her dam is Quiet Storm.

She has won 2 races in 21 starts I think and is litter sister to Bodell Kookie who I think is still with Hazel

The story of how we came about having Button is full of coincidences.

We went on holiday to Great Yarmouth and stayed at Tanya's the last week in August William went with us . Tanya had told me not to take any food for William as we could go to the greyhound stadium and get it there. Whilst we were there we saw the last race being run I told Tanya that I'd never seen greyhounds racing before.

On the Wednesday night Tanya treated us to a trip to the races .In one race a black bitch with white legs was racing and came 2nd OH said I raely like that one thats what I'd want if we had another one.

Now go forward to 2 weeks ago I was looking through the greyhound classified on greyhound data and saw a black and white bitch for sale (Button) and showed it to OH .Later when ringing Tanya I mentioned the bitch to her. She rang the owner to discover she was racing the next day. The arrangements were made for Tanya to go and look at her for me. She sounded exactly what we had liked so Tanya very kindly paid for her whilst I carried out a bank transfere to Tanya who took Button home and loked after her for a week until we met up on Sunday at peterborough lurcher show.

During this week I found the racecard in my car from when we went to the track only to discover that the bitch my husband so liked is actualy Button's sister.

Also one of my puppies that I was going to keep was called Button but I let Parksie have her as she fell inlove with her and was facing the difficult disicion of loosing her beloved Holly . So OH says it is only fate tha another Button should come back to me although bigger and a different colour I now have my Button

Sorry it is such a long tale but I thought I'd tell you how we came about having Button

Good luck with Button....shes lovely... :huggles:  I had a night at the greyhounds not long ago....a thoroughly good night out... one of my friends has greyhounds and she is there every week.

You do have quite a pack of dogs now...

No Jan Button is retired at the old age of 2 years she isn't fast enough her sister Kookie seems to have had the racing ability in her family.

Thats a great Sire she has , The breeder of Spot has always wanted her back in Ireland to mate her to him :- "

:luck: with her
