at the forthcoming bwra champs will we be allowed to go upstairs in the stadium so that people can watch the racing with out being in the cold because last time it was a very cold day. or if we are in the bottom bar again will it be possible to have the tvs on of the racing so we can watch from inside?????

you would be best going on the bwra website and send an email requesting it its the only way you will get any answers

great idea though  think thats what ricky was trying to ask for before he was interupted :- "

just think it will make the day a major success it was the same last year at stainforth they opened it all up upstairs and the day was 100% better. i no it may cost but this couldf be made by putting the gate money up to £3 or sumthing. i think people wud enjoy it more.

totaly agree its worth £5 if you can enjoy the day especially as its the champs they dont have to open the bar upstairs just the room so people can see the racing so they wouldn't need any extra staff

well it could get more people there to watch even if they havent got a dog to run. least they will no they got some where to sit to watch racing and get a cup of tea or sumthin.

point taken pig

but i canna see them lettin us up mind this is hell off a big track and us whippiters would not even fill quarter of the room upstairs  (would be nice tho)

 i cant see aproblem standing outside i know it was cold but what are you gona when straight racing if its cold arnt u gona go? a load of fuss about nothing

i no we all stand outside for straights but why stand outside in the cold??? when we can sit down in the warm in a stadium??? just a thought :- " :- "

what are we expected to do if it is pissing down with rain, all stand and get wet. or miss the racing. we could have had the champs at westy, or askern, both these tracks would have welcomed us, with full use of the stadiums. and at a very fair price.. hall green is a top class stadium, but you cant see any of the racing from the downstairs cafe building. i think that the bwra are aiming to high on there budget.. GET BACK TO THE FLAPPING TRACKS.

Why don't you just accept that THIS YEAR the venue is Hall Green. If you don't like it tough!!!!!!! :- "

WOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :- " :- " :- " :- " :- "

WELL JOAN, IT IS NOT A CASE OF IT BEING TOUGH FOR ME,.. AND THAT I WILL HAVE TO ACCEPT IT,.. BUT IT IS THE CASE FOR EVERY MEMBER OF THE BWRA. AND WHAT I STATED ABOVE IS VERY TRUE FOR EVERY MEMBER THAT ATTENDS ON THE DAY...ITS A CASE OF US HAVEING NO OPTION... TRUE, THE TRACK IS SPOT ON,. BUT THE TIME RESTRICTION,.AND THE RESTRICTION ON VIEWING THE RACES, SHOULD IT RAIN ARE VERY POOR, EXPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE TRAVELED A LONG WAY..

why dont you all pack in bend racing its cruel & you'll keep dry & warm in the winter.just a thought (w00t) this ones 4 u pigglet

I heard there was no photo finish equipment surely this should be a must at championship level.

I also think you should support the flapping tracks most of them need the money to stay open .

ive just one concern about hall green as at tyrone traps trip on auto when lure passes traps but to me in run offs when yardage was over 10yds traps opened before in front of front trap just what i thought i maybe wrong?.as all front dogs fell out?

the bwra have their own photo finish camera we set one up for the fed champs and it worked ok

and it certainly was needed at the first 2 bend pens

cor, it was frezing last week, I only managed to stand outside for about ten minutes and I was frozon through, what with the weight i've lost you could of played my ribs like a glokenspiel :) still, 20 miles north (according to the papers), there was a covering of snow almost everywhere, so I guess we'll have to hope the weather warms up a bit in the next week and half. I guess we can't blame the track for the weather, and I thought all the Northerners were pretty hardy, as everytime I go up to Northumberland the locals are out in shirt sleeves whatever the weather (w00t)

The only downer for me was the late opening of the cafe bar, cos I was dying for something warm to eat, but I understand there was some communication problem, or whatever...

the biggest positive was the quality of the hygiene (toilets), which in some cases leave a lot to desired, in particular for women, my wife is no snob but won't travel to some places, due to this...

it's Hall Green this year, let's hope it goes well, the weather is a little (a lot) warmer and everyone has good time...

Kind Regards,

Paul
