Yes their is a week-end event at Thurrock caravans can arrive on Friday morning and depart as late Tuesday morning, three days racing Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Refreshments and Porta-loo on site. Saturday and Sunday race days are sponsored + added prize money.

The rugby Club have a Sixties Soul night in the club on Friday evening £5 a ticket from 8p.m. until 12 p.m. The whippet club have a disco karaoke night on Saturday evening.
