Well the forecast was right - it stayed dry all day, we had a great turnout, with an entry of 191 (w00t) , plus 33 racing dogs, and lots of people giving thier dogs fun runs. Huge congratulations to Kenny and Pauline whos dog Sonny won Best in Show, and the pedigree racing - The Roughrigg Cup  , loads of lovely dogs of a huge variety of breeds, tons of whippets and beagles, with Bryn winning the Beagle Derby for the third year in a row (w00t) well done Sandy and Barbara, and Guess Again won the annual 'Serendipity Cup' congratulations Susan and John  . Ive taken about 350 pictures so its going to take a while to sort through them :b

Thanks to everyone for taking part today, and thanks to everyone who helped make the day so sucsessful

sorry I didn't get to your day (so Tintreach could give Sonny a run for the money!); I'd had my fill of travelling. Nice to see pictures of some dogs I remember from our Easter visit. Is that blue pup Liath or someone else (I think Liath would be bigger by now?)?

I don't know where Hopton is, but that show had a Dido lookalike, see photo at http://www.k9community.co.uk/forums/index....showtopic=35919

and the brindle and white whippet along with Dido's doppelganger at Hopton reminds me of one I saw at SPWRC races.

What a lovely day! :)) It was our first time to visit. LOADS of gorgeous dogs (especially whippets) and everyone was so incredibly friendly.

We had to leave at 3pm so didn't get chance to let Pearl have a fun run...but maybe next time!

It was such a nice day out - many thanks to the organisers.

(I do think there should have been a special award for that tiny blue pup who was so full of mischief (w00t) - utterly delightful wee thing!! Maybe one for 'character'! o:) )

That Tiny wee blue pup is mine's

His name is Colt , he's so full of fun and loved every moment in the show ring, just to show me up (w00t)

He would not walk nice for me, barked at all the other pups

But when we left the ring, he walked nice and was a nice boy for a change  (w00t)

If Only the show judge saw him leave the righ, he would have won BEST IN SHOW

ps, He's for sale,,,,Only kidding
